It has to be one of the most dramatic finishes ever in the history of the Premiership. With minutes left City looked to have blown it and United looked to be on their way to glory. They led Sunderland 1-0 away from home as City struggled 2-1 at home to QPR. And then came a crazy five minutes. After incredible work by QPR and their keeper Kenny first Dzeko stole in for the equaliser and then in the dying seconds Aguero pounced for the winner and the clincher for the title.
It ended a wait of 44 years for the City fans but what a way to do it. They always say that anything worth winning is always hard to get and so it proved. City would have enjoyed a 3-0 win over QPR but this result and the way it turned out means it will go down in folklore. What a climax.
There’s no doubt the best side have won the title and to be fair to QPR they survived the drop. Faced with the hardest run in they produced under pressure and almost grabbed an unlikely win here. It meant that Bolton who could only draw went down and Mark Hughes and his side survived. The odds on all three promoted sides staying up would have been ,long at the start of the season. But well done to Norwich and Swansea. They certainly added to the entire season.
But as I said what a finish. Sometimes Sport can reward you with great moments of drama and this was one of them.
For the first time since 1989 when Arsenal pipped Liverpool to win the title on goal difference it all came down to goals in this race. City win it for the first time in over four decades but you have to think with this monkey off their backs it won’t be last.
Jose Mourinho has been shown the door at Real Madrid and the chances are he will end up back at Chelsea. Mourinho has three years of his contract still to run at Madrid but they decided enough was enough after one of the worst seasons in the history of the club.
They lost the La Liga title to Barcelona, were dumped out of the Champions League at the semi final for the third year in a row and last weekend they lost the Copa del Rey final to neighbours Athletico 2-1. To make matters worse Ronaldo was sent off in that game and so too was Mourinho.
In his three years he won a league title and a cup but all in all it was a failure in Madrid. Only last month he hinted that perhaps English football was the place for him as he wanted to be loved and he knew of at least one club that did. That club is Chelsea. He won back to back Premiership titles with them before leaving after a fall out with owner Abramovic.

A Heineken cup final appearance last season followed by this shows this is an Ulster side who are certainly on the right track.
