What a Champions League final we have in prospect. The Germans invade Wembley for one of the most eagerly awaited games in sometime as favourites Bayern Munich take on rivals Borussia Dortmund in a game that easily go either way. Bayern are the tip but Dortmund will not feel intimidated at all. True, Bayern are unbeaten against them in their last four meetings but for me there is something about this Dortmund team.
Bayern have super players like Ribery and Robben who would love to turn on the style in London. Dortmund have the likes of Lewandowski, Hummels and for me one of the stars of their run Gundogan in the middle of the park. What a battle that will be against Martinez. Dortmund have another match winner in Marco Reus. 18 goals last season with Monchengladbach saw him move to Bayern and just keep going. He has scored against the likes of Madrid, Ajax, Man City and Malaga. One to watch.
Over 90 minutes Bayern are 4/5 with Dortmund on offer at 18/5 and a draw 13/5. To win it outright Dortmund are 2/1 with Bayern 2/5. Bayern are the team to beat but there’s something about Dortmund. I’m going to tip them to cause an upset. Either way I think we are all in for a Wembley treat come this weekend.
